Beit el Baraka
Beit el Baraka is a Lebanon based charity that provides dignity to Lebanese families who have been deprived of their basic needs and rights.
Lebanon struggles with the region's fastest aging population and a sizable youth demographic lacking access to free education. Amid governmental shortcomings, Beit el Baraka envisions a transformed Lebanon where social security, education, and pensions are guaranteed, transcending charity. Through holistic aid, Beit el Baraka provides the essential pillars of human dignity: food, shelter, medical care, education, and job opportunities.
Facing crises and plummeting donations, Beit el Baraka recently launched Kanz, a social enterprise empowering artisans and small producers, signaling a shift towards sustainability and job creation.
Today, Beit el Baraka's database comprises 226,000 families of elders, and 20,630 students in 149 schools all over Lebanon.
Beit el Baraka is registered in the USA with a 501(c)3 status, as well as in Australia.
